Where: Fields Rd Elementary. 1 School Dr. Gaithersburg 20878. Use your GPS. Red line to 54 bus from Rockville for carless folks.

What: DCH4 Trail #2045. “The Big Easy”
Wear your Mardi Gras/New Orleans finest for an A to A trail laid by one of your easiest hares 😉 Dog friendly trail and on in. A single trail with some run/walk splits. Tough-stroller friendly (will be muddy with mild shiggy in places). Given the weather forecast, everyone should bring a dry bag.

Where: 8400 Briar Creek Dr, Annandale, VA. It’s a neighborhood so there’s plenty of street parking.
From the North (MoCo, etc.): Take 495 outer loop towards VA. Exit 52A (VA-236 W/Little River Turnpike). Keep right at the fork to merge onto Little River Turnpike. In about 0.25 miles, turn left onto Duncan Dr. In 1/3 mile turn right onto Holborn Ave. Follow for 0.5 mile to the intersection of Briar Creek Dr and find a place to park.

What: Love Stinks and so does trying to find flour on a snowy day!

Friendlies: Eskimos, snow bunnies, snow doggies, snow strollers or sleds, half-minds who don’t have enough sense to come in out of the blizzard.

Driving Directions: Beltway 495 to Georgia Ave toward Wheaton. At 4th light, turn right onto Dennis Ave. Proceed to light at Inwood and turn left. Follow to house on left at top of hill. Park beyond the house toward Gridley Ave.
Other Details: A to A’. Walkers and Runners trail, Paved and off road sections. Dog and stroller friendly if not too much mud.

Public Transit: Red Line to Union Station then take the X2 or the Streetcar eastbound to Maryland Ave. Or Blue/Orange/Silver to Stadium Armory and head north on 19th street.
Driving Directions: From the MD suburbs, Beltway to the BW Parkway to NY Ave. Left on Bladensburg and left on 17th street. From Virginia, use your pocket computer.
Other Details: A to A’. Dog and friendly. Walkers may be stroller friendly with some assistance.

Directions:
Metro: Blue/Yellow Line to either King Street or Van Dorn Street Metro. Take a Uber, Bus or have a wanker pick you up.
Driving: I395 to Duke Street exit. East on Duke, Right on Somervelle Street. Meet at the parking lot at the end of Somervelle.
Other trail info: A to A’. Walker, dog and stroller friendly. Shiggy depends on weather but will try to keep your feet dry, bring a dry bag in case of rain.
On On On: TBD but probably Shooter McGees or Los Toltecos.
