Details: Some urban shiggy, reasonable distance (~7km). Walkers and Runners split. One Beer Check, possible shot check. Mostly stroller and dog friendly, with some pavement work-arounds. Walkers trail is stroller friendly.
DCH4 Trail# 2052 – 4/20/19 @ 3pm
What: DCH4 Trail #2052; a Joint Collaboration Trail with DCH4 and S2H3 (Strolling Stoners H3); A to A’, Runners and Walkers trails, stroller and doggie friendly; no major water crossings, but it will rain a lot Friday and Friday night, so there will be some mud–so you might want to bring a change of shoes….
**Bring cash and ID on trail for optional beer check at another brewery

The memorial is just west of 20th St, NE, between Hamlin and Franklin Streets, and a couple blocks south of Rhode Island Ave.
It is 1.1 miles from both the Rhode Island Ave and Brookland-CU Metro stations.

Driving: I495 to Van Dorn Street Exit. Head South on Van Dorn Street. Take a Left of Franconia Road, Edison HS will be on your right.
Metro: Take Blue Line to Van Dorn Street. Walk, Uber or Bus to Van Dorn Street and Franconia Road (Check Fairfax Connector Bus schedules for bus 109 or 322).
Deets: We’re burning shit!! Including your Xmas trees! Food will be provided. A to B trail. Bag vehicle provided at start. There will be lots of food and beer. There will be walkers and runner trails. Trails will be dog and stroller friendly. On After is also dog friendly as long as dogs are kept outside.

Where: Start is at 10700 Columbia Pike (Rte 29; aka Colesville Road), at Burnt Mills West Special Park
From DC Beltway, cumming from the West: From I-495, take exit 30A, to merge onto US-29N/Colesville Road toward Columbia. Go north for 1.5 miles to bottom of hill, and immediately after crossing the bridge for the Northwest Branch, with a dam to your left, turn left into the parking lot near the dam. Park and Hash. (parking is also available across the street at 10701 Columbia Pike, at Burnt Mills East Special Park) If you see the Trader Joe’s on your right, you have gone 100 yards too far. FYI: When you cross the bridge, Colesville Rd becomes Columbia Pike—they are all Rte. 29.
From DC Beltway, cumming from the East: From I-495, take exit 29 for MD-193W (north)/University Blvd to Wheaton. After 0.5 miles, turn right at the third light on Colesville Road/Rte. 29, go 0.9 miles to bottom of hill, and immediately after crossing the bridge for the Northwest Branch, with a dam to your left, turn left into the parking lot near the dam. Park and Hash. (parking is also available across the street at 10701 Columbia Pike, at Burnt Mills East Special Park) If you see the Trader Joe’s on your right, you have gone 100 yards too far.
From the north, proceed south on Rte. 29 (you can take Rte. 200/Inter-county Connector to Rte 29). From the intersection with Rte. 200 (ICC), go south on Rte. 29/Columbia Pike for 4 miles. Just after you see the Trader Joe’s on your left, make a right into the parking lot just before the bridge. Park and hash. (parking is also available across the street at 10701 Columbia Pike, at Burnt Mills East Special Park)
